Venue
Questions
Is the venue an actual arcade?
Despite the name, the Dayton Arcade is sadly not an actual arcade. However, it is a beautiful historical landmark located in downtown Dayton and is an architectural gem that dates back to the early 1900s. Once a thriving marketplace, this iconic structure has been meticulously restored to preserve its stunning vaulted ceilings and intricate details. It is a beautiful venue that we hope all of our guests will adore just as much as we do!
How do I find the venue?
The Arcade has many entrances, please enter through the 4th Street entrance at 35 W Fourth Street. Once inside, there will be signage directing you to where the wedding ceremony will be held!
Does the Arcade offer parking?
Yes, the Arcade offers parking! Parking can be found at the Reibold Garage... mere steps away from the Arcade. The garage is located at 25 W 5th Street Dayton, Ohio, 45422. Parking will be free for the afternoon/evening of the wedding day. If you will be staying at the hotel attached to the Arcade (The Hilton Garden Inn) you will need to use the hotel's valet.
Wedding Day
Questions
Are children welcome?
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only (12 and up) event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us! If you have any questions feel free to reach out to the bride.
Can I bring a date?
We are so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest! As we have a strict guest list to stay within our venue's capacity and our budget, we can only accommodate those listed on your specific invitation. So unless noted on the invite please refrain from bringing a plus one. Thank you for understanding!
What should I wear to the wedding?
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a formal dress code for our evening. Wear whatever color you would like, but the bride kindly requests that you avoid white, cream, and ivory dresses when making your outfit selection. Most importantly, choose something you feel comfortable moving and dancing in—we can’t wait to celebrate with you on the dance floor! If your dress shoes aren’t dance-floor friendly, don’t hesitate to bring a pair you can change into.
So…what exactly does ‘formal’ mean?
As a formal dress code can mean different things to different people, we’ve put together a Pinterest board with ideas—think polished, festive, and dance-floor ready!

Can we take our own photos and videos throughout the day?
Our ceremony will be unplugged. For this, we ask all phones and cameras to be put away and there to be no pictures or videos taken during the ceremony. This is such a special day for us and we have the most amazing photographer and videographer documenting our day. We want everyone to be present and be in the moment with us during the ceremony.
However, you are more than welcome and in fact, highly encouraged to take photos and videos throughout the rest of the evening. A QR code will be provided so that these photos and videos can be shared with everyone if desired!
Do you have a wedding hashtag?
Absolutely! Help us capture every laugh, dance move, and happy tear with our hashtag #AshdownToGetMarried. We can’t wait to see your photos!
How are drinks going to be handled?
The drinks are on us, and the hangover is on you. Please drink responsibly while still having fun. If you plan to drink, we ask that you set up a safe ride back to your end-of-night location, whether that be your home or a nearby hotel. We want everyone to have fun and be safe!
Can I bring my own alcohol?
Absolutely no outside alcohol is permitted on the venue grounds. However, don’t worry, our bartenders will have plenty of alcohol to provide to everyone during cocktail hour and the reception!
RSVP
Questions
How can I RSVP?
RSVPs will be available directly through our wedding website soon! Once it opens, you’ll be able to submit your RSVP online — no mail required. Our RSVP page isn’t open just yet — it’ll go live once invitations are sent out!
What should I do if I RSVP'd yes but cannot make it anymore?
You will be dearly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding anymore, please reach out to us and let us know as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly.
What happens if I don't RSVP in time?
If we do not get an RSVP back by the date provided, it will be marked as a "no". We will miss celebrating with you, however, we have to provide a total guest count to our vendors in a timely manner. Due to this, we cannot accept late RSVP's and we thank you for your understanding!
Registry
Questions
How can I access your registry?
Our registries are linked right here on our wedding website. Simply click the store name (William Sonoma, Target, Crate & Barrel, or Pottery Barn) to be taken directly to each registry. Thank you so much for celebrating with us!
How do I mark a gift as purchased?
When you purchase directly through our registry links, the item is automatically marked as bought. If you purchase in-store, most registries let you manually mark the gift as purchased to avoid duplicates.
